With more than 18 years of agency experience, Steve Bauer is a global lead for Fleishman Hillard's Social & Innovation practice group and oversees the firm's "Social Art" tribe. Steve's areas of expertise include integrated marketing, social strategy and social business, executive social media, content marketing, online community management, employee advocacy and issues/crisis management.
In his role, Steve collaborates with other leaders in the firm to develop social media solutions for clients while helping to further the agency's thought leadership efforts. Steve also serves as social media advisor for FleishmanHillard's global Ethics Committee, where he helps to address ethics-related issues and ensure best practices across the firm.
Steve is responsible for planning, managing and executing social media programs for a number of the agency's top global clients, including AT&T, Enterprise Holdings and Monsanto.
Steve holds a bachelor's degree in public and environmental affairs with a concentration in management and a minor in Spanish from Indiana University. He is an active board member with Launch St. Louis, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping St. Louis non-profits develop "young friends" boards. Steve is also a founding member of the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) Digital Media Marketing Advisory Board and is currently chairs the UMSL Digital Board Curriculum Committee.
